What is android one?

Android one we have heard these word from many people mouth but if we are unknown about these then please read this article. When I heard about these word at the first i start to think what is android one is these new android smart phone or what . 

Then i start to get information about it then i came to know that android one is a system application which was organized by Google and had given contract to mobile company to make mobile on a particular specs like there must be ram more than 1 GB, there must be quad core processor and the price range of mobile shouldn't be too high. and the best things is that these smart phones will get a direct contact from Google like the android version can be upgraded as soon as  Google publish it . 

And the Google had given this first contract on India. To the mobile company 
                            1)Micro max

                            2)spice

                            3)karbon

These smartphones are in the price range of $120 and have a good performance .
